Mr. Paul was born in Salina, Kansas, on August 8, 1981 and was admitted to the Kansas bar in 2008. He majored in accounting at Emporia State University and received his Bachelor of Science degree in 2004 (Magna Cum Laude). He received his law degree, including a Business & Transactional Law Certificate (with distinction) from Washburn University School of Law in 2007.

While pursuing his undergraduate degree, Mr. Paul played collegiate football and was honored as an Athletic All-American (2003), an Academic All-American (2002 & 2003), Academic All-American of the Year (2004), MIAA Student-Athlete of the Year, and MVP of the Mineral Water Bowl and Cactus Bowl All-Star Game.

While attending law school, Mr. Paul was active in the Business and Transactional Law Clinic, Phi Alpha Delta Fraternity (PAD), Washburn Business Law Society, Washburn Real Estate Society, and Excellence in Athletics. He is currently a member of the Wichita, Kansas, and American Bar Associations.
